Dog Skijoring competitions
Dog competitions held mostly Skijoring in places where there is snow or sometimes it is held every winter to other sites, which have different seasons. Distance of race normally ranges from five to twenty kilometres. Longest race ever to be recorded is the Road Runner 100, which was held in Whitehorse, Yukon with a recorded distance of one hundred ninety-60 kilometers or miles. In places like the United States and Canada held this Skijoring ran normally in coincidence with the sled dog races. So is the Skijoring just another category for these sites, generally kept under today or tomorrow. In Scandinavia, this sport is closely related to the Pulka, which is an old Norse sport.
Northern breed dogs, Siberian husky, as are not the only one who can join the dog ran Skijoring. on the other hand, German short-hairy pointers, the pointer/greyhound mixtures and Alaskan huskies ranked at the top of the racing teams around the world.
There are times that the years is prohibited, especially if they only are organised by an unknown organization, local.However, the international Sled Racing Association or commonly referred to as ISDRA aid a lot of races in the United States and Canada.While the European sled dog Racing Association or popularly known as the ESDRA supports ran countries. another organization is the International Federation of the sled dog sport or also known as the IFSS, which supports THE WORLD CUP races throughout the world, and also WORLD CUP race for every second year. these three organisations are the only ones who can give legal sanction, for they are the recognized organizations for this kind of sport.
