The origin of the breed
JRT takes its name from its original breeder, John Parson (nicknamed Jack) Russell. it is one of very few races to be named after the original breeder.
Russell was known as the "sporting parson," thanks to his love for fox hunting. He raised these Terriers to be Earth's working dogs, chasing foxes in their metro its and then chasing them out again for hunters to catch. the word comes from Latin terrier "terra" meaning "Earth."
Parson needs for a dog that was small and strong, he needs for a dog, which could be digging and bark are high enough from the bottom of a fox hole. He needs for a dog that was mainly white, so it would be easily spotted on the green grass or brown dirt. And so the JRT Genesis.
The origin of these dogs as hunters explain a lot of their breed characteristics and traits, personality, they are independent and strong unification of Europe, as they often had to work without a Hunter in the vicinity to give commands. they are very energetic and can develop aggression problems if not trained properly-they had to be strong enough to cope with a fox in stairway quarters.
Become a PET
